Wholesale Terms

At normadot, each piece is handmade in Denmark in small batches, with a focus on thoughtful design, tactile details, and slow-made quality.

We welcome selected stockists, including independent boutiques, concept stores, museum shops, children’s stores, and larger retailers who share our appreciation for handmade, long-lasting play pieces.

Wholesale access is available for approved businesses only.

Requirements

A valid business, resale permit, or VAT/tax number may be required.

Wholesale applies to selected normadot products. Custom or tailored orders can be arranged on request, depending on availability and production capacity.

We do not work with Amazon, eBay, or other third-party marketplace sellers.

Existing approved wholesale customers can log in to view wholesale prices directly on our online store.

Minimum orders

Outside EU:
First order: 561 USD
Re-orders: 322 USD

Europe:
First order: 490 EUR
Re-orders: 150 EUR

Denmark:
Wholesale orders within Denmark are arranged individually.

Orders below the minimum order value may be cancelled or adjusted before production begins.

Production time

All normadot wholesale orders are handmade to order.

Please allow 6–12 weeks order processing time.

Lead time may vary depending on product availability, order size, and current production volume.

Expected delivery dates can be discussed at the time of order.

Shipping

All orders are shipped from our studio in Denmark.

Denmark:
Shipping within Denmark is free.

Europe:
Flat rate shipping: 14 EUR
Free shipping on orders above 603 EUR

Outside EU:
Flat rate shipping: 29 USD
Free shipping on orders above 629 USD

All parcels ship with GLS or PostNord, depending on destination, parcel size, and cost, unless otherwise agreed.

Shipping rates are shown at checkout where available. For larger or special orders, shipping may be adjusted or confirmed separately.

Payment

Wholesale orders can be paid directly at checkout.

Accepted online payment methods include:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal.

Manual payment by bank transfer or PayPal may be available by agreement. Invoices are usually sent within 24 hours.

Cancellations

Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of placing the order, as long as production or processing has not started.

Because wholesale orders are handmade to order, cancellations after production has started may not be possible.

Returns

Wholesale orders are made to order and are generally not returnable unless an item is faulty or damaged.

Returns may be accepted within 5 days of delivery by prior agreement only.

Approved returns must be in unused, resalable condition.

A 20% restocking fee may apply, unless the return is due to a product defect or damage.

Claims and damages

Please inspect all parcels upon delivery.

Visible damage or shortages must be reported directly to the carrier upon delivery.

Concealed damages must be reported to normadot within 14 days of delivery.

Please include photos of the parcel, packaging, and damaged item when reporting a claim.

Handmade note

All normadot products are handmade, handprinted, and handsewn in Denmark.

Small variations in shape, print, embroidery, and finish are part of the charm of handmade pieces.

Each silkscreen print is unique, and slight imperfections are considered a natural part of the process.
